My name is Julie Watson and I was born in Lake Charles Louisiana to Vernon and Rhonda Trahan. For 18 yrs. I have been married to my best friend, Rodney. We have 3 wonderful children, ages 18, 16 and 3 yrs old and live in SE Oklahoma. . These last several years I have been a stay at home mom and a home childcare provider. Before being a stay at home mom, I work for four years as a receptionist at Kiamichi Medical Clinic. As a minister’s wife of 17 years, I have been a public inspirational speaker, speaking at Lady’s day, retreats and teaching classes. I was a substitute teacher in the public school and homeschooled my first two children for four years. I was the Director of the Holy Jeans Ministry for 6 years and Assistant Girl Scout leader for 3 years. I have volunteered in many aspects, built community and made our house, a home. Along the way in these 40 yrs, I have become a decent cook, a passable hostess, an outstanding chauffeur, craftsman and a unlicensed pediatrician.I am currently the Secretary of Britney Trahan Foundation, Inc. and her Aunt. I have been so saddened by her death and hold on to cherished memories of Britney.
